The GWRC Affordable Housing Task Force has been created in response to
the identification in the Commission's adopted regional strategic plan that affordable housing is one of six critical issues confronting the Region.

Resolution No. 07-23 – Appointing members to the Task Force. Mr. Wilson advised members that Chairman Kelly and seven other individuals had agreed to serve on the Task Force. Those individuals were noted as follows:
- Dr. Leslie Martin, Assistant Professor of Sociology, University of Mary Washington;
- Mr. Fred Kurth, Community Activist and Former Executive Director, HOME, Inc.;
- Mr. Gary Parker, Executive Director, Central Virginia Housing Coalition;
- Ms. Gail Penman, Century 21 TEAM Real Estate;
- Mr. Hart Rutherford, TriCord Companies;
- Mr. Bruce Seger, Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity
- Christine Singhass, Fredericksburg Realtor Foundation.
Mr. Wilson commented that other appointments could be made and that
other individuals could be nominated at the January meeting. Mr. Gibbons made a motion to approve Resolution No. 07-23. The motion was seconded by Mr. Dudenhefer and unanimously approved.
